The Velvet Leash is a sole proprietorship operated by Kelly Wertz, based in Tellico Village, Tennessee. This policy explains what we collect when you use thevelvetleashtn.com and how we use it.

- Contact form submissions. When you submit our inquiry form we collect the name, email address, phone number, pet details, service of interest, preferred dates, and any additional message you provide.
- Basic server logs. Standard request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent) is logged for security and reliability. These logs are retained for up to 30 days.
- No tracking cookies. This site does not use marketing or analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and arrange care for your pet.
- To maintain client records once a service relationship begins.
- To comply with our legal and insurance obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share information only with:
- Our email provider (Google Workspace) for the purpose of delivering and storing your inquiry.
- Our hosting provider for the purpose of operating this website.
- Authorities when required by law.
How long we keep it
Inquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and, where a booking results, for the duration of the client relationship plus seven years for tax and insurance records.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
